Monster High is a brand on fire as it expands the franchise across content, digital, fashion, publishing and beyond. Launched by Mattel in 2010, “Monster High” was rebooted in 2022 and has become a cultural phenomenon, celebrated worldwide for its creativity, inclusiveness and message of individuality.
The Monster High universe returned with a reimagined set of characters, also known as the Boo Crew – Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura, Frankie Stein and Deuce Gorgon – who embrace what makes them unique and rally people everywhere to be themselves and be a monster. In this world, being called “four eyes” is a badge of honor, and “mummy issues” is part of the school curriculum.
Created by Nickelodeon and Mattel Television Studios, “Monster High” unveiled global content, including a half-hour series that launched with the episode, “The Monstering,” where Clawdeen follows her instincts and discovers a school for monsters. When she isn’t allowed to enroll, she devises other ways to get into the school. The night continues in the second episode, “Food Fight,” where Draculaura secretly practices witchcraft and Clawdeen and Frankie must help subdue the tater tot she brings to life.
To give fans another way to interact with the “Monster High” cast, Mattel and Outright Games recently partnered on the video game, “Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets.” In this game, fans will be able to create their own monster, interact with the Boo Crew and lend a helping hand to stop the mysterious chaos roaming the halls of Monster High.

“Monster High is an IP that truly encourages fans to express every part of themselves and think outside the box,” says Stephanie Malham, chief operating officer, Outright Games. “We couldn’t be prouder to help build on its legacy and reintroduce the Boo Crew to a new generation of players. As the latest Monster High video game to be released on all consoles and PC, ‘Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets’ invites fans to explore faithful recreations of the school and experience a brand-new story. Mattel has worked with us every step of the way, providing us the tools and support to create something that will be special for fans old and new.”
Fans will also be able to bring the Boo Crew to life through a doll collection. For the collection, Mattel partnered with Off-White, a luxury brand label, to create fashion doll ensembles that disrupt fashion norms and foster a spirit of non-conformity to encourage fans to be fearless and express themselves boldly. These chic dolls made their grand debut at Off-White flagship stores in Miami, New York City, Las Vegas, Paris and Milan, offering fans a chance to own a piece of “Monster High’s” rebellious spirit.
Whether on screen, in the gaming world or through fashion-forward dolls, Monster High will continue to empower fans to embrace who they are, no matter how different they may be.
